Life Coaching for Burned-Out Professionals

You've been
brute-forcing
your life.

You struggle to get out of bed. Your body is in pain that doctors keep dismissing. Your job feels intolerable. You feel lost, exhausted, like you're drowning. I help you get free of that moment, so you can do what you love and actually enjoy your life.

The part where knowing doesn't help.

"My brain knows I shouldn't feel this way… but I feel it anyway."

"I've built a successful life on paper. Nothing about it feels like mine."

"I understand exactly what's happening. I just can't stop it."

"I'm so tired of fighting myself all the time."

"I can't make myself care about my job anymore. And I don't know if I ever did."

"I've done the therapy. I've read the books. I understand myself really well. I'm still stuck."

This is where most people end up after the therapy, the journaling, the self-help books, the ayahuasca, the podcasts. They understand themselves. They just can't close the gap between what they know and what they actually do. It's an emotional problem. Emotional problems don't respond to intellectual solutions. That's exactly what this work is for.

This is about ending the
internal war.

Most coaching focuses on what you need to do differently. More accountability. Better systems. Stronger habits. And yet here you are, smart, capable, self-aware, still stuck in the same loops.

Most people are at war with their own emotions. You know what you should do. Something keeps pulling you in the opposite direction anyway. That disconnect is a signal that the actual problem hasn't been addressed.

Across 7,300+ sessions, I've developed a method I call E.N.D., a way of working that gets to what's actually underneath the loop and changes it.

This is different than therapy. Therapy is about diagnosing and treating mental illness. Coaching is about building mental health. I build the emotional tools you need to close the gap between what you know and what you do.

"I want to feel like I have more power and agency. I want to just exist. Without the constant noise in my head."

01

Emotional Empowerment

Most people are at war with their own emotions. You know what you should do, but something keeps pulling you in the opposite direction. We start by ending that war and getting you aligned with your emotions so they're working with you instead of against you.

02

Narrative Navigation

The stories you tell about yourself were written to help you survive. But survival stories don't always serve a full life. We find those narratives together and rewrite them on your terms.

03

Dharma Design

Most people know what they don't want. Far fewer know what they're actually for. We go beyond functional and all the way to fulfilling, finding your singular orienting purpose and building your life around it intentionally. So what you do every day doesn't feel like a slog. Instead, your life becomes a game you actually want to play.

The Reclamation
A 26-week 1:1 coaching program for burned-out professionals

This program is built around one moment. The morning you couldn't get out of bed. The job that felt intolerable. The exhaustion no one could explain. If you've hit that wall, or you've been living just below it for years, this is exactly for you.

I

What it is

26 weeks. 26 sessions. One session a week for about six months. 1:1 work, just you and me, doing the actual thing.

II

What we're building

Self-trust. Emotional regulation. Clarity on who you are and what you actually want. Relationships where your boundaries are actually respected.

III

How it works

We start by putting together a frame: what's going on for you, what's been getting in the way. From there we fit pieces together. It can seem like we're working on disconnected things. Over time, those pieces link up and form a larger picture.

IV

How we track progress

Every few months, we run a structured check-in. Most people don't realize how much has changed until they see it written down. We use it to celebrate what's shifted and orient what comes next.

"I came to coaching looking for professional development and to help me navigate leaving the career field I worked my entire life for. I wasn't looking for my dream job. I was running away from it. I didn't realize how much of a mess my mental state was or how burnt out I was feeling. However, over more and more sessions, I was able to talk with Sean about things I never even touched on with my therapist. Nothing ever felt forced. Creating a safe space comes with ease for him even when talking about tough or uncomfortable topics. I learned how to validate my feelings, be nicer to myself, and reprioritize my interests to shape the future I want for myself."

Here's what it actually
looks like.

One

Book a Free 50-Minute Consultation

This is where we meet. You tell me what's going on. I ask questions. At the end, if it feels like a good fit, I'll lay out what working together looks like. There's no pitch and no pressure. If it's not the right match, I'll tell you honestly.

Two

We Build the Frame

The first few sessions are about understanding what's actually going on for you. The deeper patterns, the places you keep getting stuck.

Three

Weekly Sessions: We Do the Work

Once a week, 50 minutes. A lot of coaches focus solely on emotional work or solely on practical work. The problem is that without the practical, nothing happens. Without the emotional, you just burn out again. That's why we address both.

Four

The Assignment

A lot of people view the coach-client relationship as mentor and mentee. I don't view it that way. I view it as a collaborative relationship where we're working together to solve a problem. That's what the session is. That's what the work between sessions is. We're in it together. After each session I'll send you the assignment in our DMs so you have it to reference.

Five

Snapshot Check-Ins Every Few Months

Every few months you'll complete a structured check-in. Most people are surprised by how much has shifted. We use it to celebrate what's changed and orient what's next.

Six

The Picture Comes Together

By the end of six months you have a fundamentally different relationship with yourself. You work with your emotions instead of against them. The narratives in your life are actually serving you. And life no longer feels like such a slog because you're focused on the things you truly care about.

Sean, founder of Ostara Coaching

Hi. I'm Sean.

I was always the therapist friend. The one people called when something was actually wrong. For about ten years I streamed on Twitch, and the moments that mattered most, for me and for the people watching, were never the games. They were when I'd put the controller down and we'd just talk. Really talk. People I trusted started telling me that I had a specific thing: the ability to cut through all the noise and get to the heart of what someone was actually experiencing.

So I thought, what if I did this for real? Which was uncomfortable, because I genuinely believed coaches were either scam artists or lazy therapists. But I tried it. My streaming community became some of my first clients. I said: you know that thing we do on stream? What if we did it one on one.

From there I got serious about it. I ended up mentoring under a Harvard-affiliated psychiatrist, a licensed therapist, and a former Amazon VP turned career coach. One of them reframed the whole thing for me. Therapy has a monopoly on mental health, and that's bad for everyone. Therapists are overworked and burned out, shooing people out the door because demand is overwhelming. And for the people who get shoed out, or for whom therapy never quite fit, there's been no real alternative. That's what coaching is supposed to be. That's what I'm trying to build.

The thing I care about most in this work is accountability. Most coaches charge a lot of money and then whatever happens, happens. They share their best testimonials and leave it there. I measure outcomes. I track progress every few months, from the start of the work to the end. And I'm public about average results, not just the highlight reel, because you deserve to know what you're actually signing up for.

Outside of the work, my life comes down to one thing: relationships. My wife and I have known each other since we were eight years old. Everything I do, the way I show up for clients, the way I take care of the people around me, runs through the same current. Connection is the whole thing.

The first conversation
is free.

50 minutes. No pitch, no pressure. You tell me what's going on, and I'll be honest with you about whether this is the right fit. If it is, I'll walk you through exactly what working together looks like. If it isn't, I'll tell you that too. And if you get four sessions in and decide it's not working, I'll refund everything.

How is this different from therapy?

+

Therapy is much more about diagnosing and treating mental illness. Coaching is about building mental health. There's overlap, and if you've done therapy before you'll recognize some of what we do, but the orientation is different. We build emotional tools so you can close the gap between what you know and what you actually do. I'm not a therapist, I can't diagnose anything, and for some people therapy is the right first step. I'll tell you honestly if I think that's true for you.

I've paid a lot of people for stuff like this. Why would this be different?

+

That's a fair question and I respect it. The honest answer is: the free consultation exists exactly for this reason. You don't have to take my word for it. You get to experience how I work for 50 minutes and decide for yourself. And there's a 4-session money-back guarantee after that. You don't have to commit to six months sight unseen. You get to feel it out. What makes this work is what happens between two people when one of them finally feels genuinely heard. Some people feel it on the first call. Others need a few sessions. But I'm not going to charge you for something that's not working.

Why 26 weeks? That feels like a long time.

+

Because healing takes time. In my experience, one-off sessions don't result in the outcomes that actually help people. The shifts that matter, the ones that stick, take time to build. That said, things start moving fast. Most people notice something changing in the first few sessions. The reason it's six months is because this isn't a fad diet where you lose all the weight and then just gain it back. Sustainable change takes time.

What if I can't afford $5,500?

+

There are payment plans: you can pay in two installments, every four weeks, or even per session. There's also a sliding scale. I lead with the full rate because that's what the program is worth, but I'm not going to let the price be what stops the right person from doing this work. Tell me what your situation is and we'll figure it out. I'm much more interested in whether this is the right fit than in the number.

What if I've tried everything and nothing has worked?

+

That's usually exactly who ends up here. The people who've read the books, done the therapy, tried the journaling, who understand themselves really well but still can't close the gap. That's a signal that what you've been trying doesn't address the actual problem. The actual problem is emotional. Emotional problems don't respond to intellectual solutions. That's what this work is for.
